Well, I had a great time early this month when my dad and I took a long roadtrip up to Vancouver, BC, Canada to try out some steelhead fishing. Spencer was traveling to Vancouver for business, so thought we would take advantage of the situation to try out Canada's world-renowned fishing for steelheads. The trip started out perfect as Dad and I drove 16 hours to pick up Spencer from the Vancouver airport and then headed east to a town called Chilliwack (and no, its not pronounced "Chilli-wack", its "Chilla-wack") We got made fun of by our waitress one night at our restauran
t. Anyway, the trip was fun, but the fishing was horrible. We were hoping to time the steelhead run just right, but we were a little late. There were a few in the river...we saw some roll and Dad broke his line on one, but it wasn't near our expectations. Oh well, it was worth the trip.
